This is what I ate on Friday. The Nerds jelly beans were more for a friend whom is preggers and had been craving them...not lunch...more like work time snack...see how awesome I am?
Today's photo was SHADOW....but today was super gloomy...and rainy...so the only shadow I could find was trying to take one of Kyle or myself in the house...or something lame like a lamp. Let's be honest...a lamp would be no fun to look at. So....into the photo vault I go....what will I choose?

I don't really know how old I am here (maybe 5?) or what we were all together for...based on the cake I would assume a birthday...
I just really like this picture...not that anyone looks particularly fantastic. From left to right this is a picture of my cousin Angie, Myself, cousin Dan, and my cousin Steph. I think it is just so symbolic of the simpler times of childhood. None of us had responsibilities or children. No bills, relationships, mortgages. I often look back at my childhood pictures...and even others...because you know what they say...no matter what has changed in your life, family, or relationships, things were great in this moment. In this single fragment of a memory...everything is ok.
But I guess there is a flip side to that too...
Finding the happy medium so that you are reminiscing and not dwelling. Things change. People change. This is all for a reason and no matter how it feels now or even a month from now....years from now...it is all for a reason.
You're life is not without purpose.
