I have known my friend Krystal literally since I was born...and while we were much closer when we were kids, she is like family to me (as is the rest of her family).
This is us back in '88...that's what I think the picture says anyways...how adorable?

Anyways...Krystal got MARRIED last weekend!

And as I would expect...everything was PERFECT and it was her day to shine as the princess she is!

The ceremony took place at the Mayowood Barn in Rochester, Mn. This is a rustic, yet elegant location for a wedding. I was amazed at it's beauty. The ceremony took place in the upstairs of the barn, white lights draped the ceiling and candles where in the windows. They walked down the aisle to Taylor Swifts's 'Love Story'...which we all knew totally won me over! How sweet is that?!

At the ceremony they talked about how they met and what they loved most about each other and their favorite memories of their times together. It really made it feel like we were all let in on some secret of their story. Being that I have been around so little in the last  few years...I really appreciated the extra story and insight. It really made me know that these two are meant to be together, even if I had only met Jon one other time in the past.

The cocktail hour was done a bit differently than most weddings I have been to. The photos were taken beforehand so the cocktail hour was a time of relaxation for the wedding party too. There was a small room across from the main barn that was furnished with fancy couches and a piano that was being played. We also had mad libs at our tables to play. Kyle and I were not about to let ours be cheesy and wedding orientated...a piece of advice? Right hoof skinny pedal. Oh yes I did.

I really appreciated that she placed Kyle and I at a table with my mom and her uncle's family. Not to mention said table was right next to her family's table. It made me really feel appreciated...you know...not being in the back corner sitting with random people as I have been at the last few weddings I have gone to..no offense to them either...just made me feel like family.

I always love the speeches that are given at weddings. Especially when they are heartfelt and full of stories. Krystal's brother, Matt gave such a sweet speech, he was on the verge of tears. Very cute.

Dinner was catered by Canadian Honker. I had never heard of them but I think they are AMAZING. It was pulled pork, chicken, beans, and fruit. Honestly, by far the best wedding dinner I have had in awhile. The cake was cupcakes and such by Buttercream. Let's just say that was also amazing.

They also had a photo booth which is all the craze right now...but come on...they are so much fun!! The typical things that happen at weddings also happened... guarder and flower toss, several dances (Krystal actually has two dad's so there were two father daughter dances...that was kinda tough to sit through, in all honesty), and drinks and celebrations. It was pretty amazing. I am so happy for the two of them. Now they are off to Jamaica for some honeymooning!

I had a really cool collage that I spent way too long perfecting...and it's not a file that I can upload here...

All of these photos were taken by the talents at Angelic Jewel Photography. Didn't they turn out amazing? You should check her out... https://www.facebook.com/angelicjewelphotography or http://www.angelicjewelphotography.com/.
